I’m a Californian living in British Columbia, Canada. I married a Canadian and we have been together for over 2 years. We currently have 6 cats, 1 dog, and 8 fish. I have a lot of post secondary schooling under my belt, but not enough in one subject to have a BA. I have a 2 year degree in Psychology and a 2 year degree in English with a lot of humanities and philosophy courses in the mix. I’ve held numerous sales and barista gigs. Currently I feed calves and live on a dairy farm. I hold a black belt in martial arts. I run. | |

I'm the type of person to be listening to Democracy Now while reading the National Post, eating a tofu scramble and drinking locally roasted coffee -black. Or, you would see me writing in a cafe alone, or listening to Underworld and admiring European design. I challenge myself daily with long term goals. My more recent challenge includes reading 15,000 pages in a year or 50 books. I paint in acrylics. I do crafty décor. I knit and crochet. I take pictures. I hike, garden, sail, read, take long hot baths and write in my livejournal as well as my hardbound journal. I’m a vegetarian and have been for 9 years. I am also wiccan. Every day is different. | |

My journal is mostly about everyday rants and raves. I write about my hopes and my fears. I write a lot about depression which is something I deal with everyday. Plus, I include topics such as politics, philosophical standpoints, literature and opinions on this questionable reality we call life. | |
